Black Elk Energy is hosting the 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Louisiana Association of Community Action Partnerships (LACAP) and we’re raising the stakes with a Chili, Bar-B-Q, and Gumbo Cook-off! This year we hope to double last year’s donation and raise $100,000. With your company sponsorship, you and your colleagues can enjoy two days of fun in the summer sun, feasting on competition-worthy cuisine, hitting the links while sharing the course with a PGA Champion, and networking with others in the industry - all while doing good for a worthy cause. CELEBRITY GOLF EXHIBITION &
SCRAMBLE GOLF TOURNAMENT

Last year we had the good fortune of featuring Annika Sorenstam as our professional golfer. This year, we have done it again as we welcome John Daly to the course for our tournament on Monday, May 17th. Daly, well-known for his powerhouse golf swing, will be stationed on a Par 5 and will hit a tee shot with each participating team. Prior to the tournament, Daly will be present for a Meet-and-Greet with all the participants. Become an event sponsor and meet “The Lion” in person! We will also welcome back the lovely Saintsations at the tournament and the cook-off, ready for photos and autographs. These beauties will help to cheer us all on while representing Louisiana - the home of LACAP.

CHILI, BAR-B-Q & GUMBO COOK-OFF

Are you known for your four-alarm chili? Could your gumbo wow the likes of Emeril Lagasse? Is your smoked pork so good it makes competitors want to slap your mamma? Come show everyone what you’ve got cookin’! On Sunday, May 16th we will host the Chili, Bar-B-Q, and Gumbo Cook-off Event. In addition to the fantastic food and flames of competition amongst some of the best amateur chefs this side of the Mississippi, there will be live music and great fun. Reserve your booth today!

SILENT AUCTION

Our silent auction this year spans both days of the event and we welcome all donations. Sports-related items, gift cards, local artwork, jewelry or vouchers - anything you can donate - all contributions will make a positive financial impact. But don’t forget to bring your wallets too so that those must-have items donated by others don’t slip away! Remember it is all for a good cause!
