From the town of Hammond, Louisiana, Blair Abene, Miss Louisiana 2008, is a senior Arts and Music major at Southeastern Louisiana University. She is the CMN State Miracle Maker Award winner, Preliminary Talent Award and Academic Award Winner at Miss Louisiana 2008. This outstanding young woman served as the Director of publicity and fundraising for Delta Omicron, led the Professional Music Fraternity and was the Hammond Special Olympics liaison to all visiting royalty.  She is also the Spokesperson for the national Tourettes Syndrome Association (TSA).
